We have to many trees down across the roads between here and the Postoffice, not to mention we are on generator power and have been told this will take several days to restore I will let you all know as soon as your items have shipped!!
Posted - Feb 27 2010 : 04:41:18 AMHere's the update from the Great North Woods! We are one of the lucky folks, they restored power early yesterday afternoon!! Our governor has declared a "state of emergency" for our state. Close to 400,000 folks without power and not expecting to restore service for several days. . . maybe even a week.
So I am busy reaching out to anyone we know that needs help at the moment. I will be attempting to go to the postoffice today. . as long as they have power! Right now it is snowing heavily we are expecting 6+ inches of snow for today.
Considering all that has happened in the last 3 days, the snow is like an insult to the line crews and tree removal crews. I'll post more later, thank you for all your warm wishes!!
