I have terri hiking socks available that are made from 100% wool from our flock of Leicester Longwool sheep. The socks come in two heights: mid calf and knee highs. They come in three sizes. Small is 6-8 1/2 and medium is 9-11 and large is 10-13. They are super warm and great with winter boots.$25 dollars a pair. Thanks, Sara

I recently took a spinning class and one of my favorite parts of the class was the week we spent talking about all the different breeds of sheep and the characteristics of their wool. The teacher gave us samples of each and we made a notebook with the same and a description of the wool on each page. Loved it!

They are machine knit from the wool of our Leicester Longwools. The characteristics of the fleece with its strong curls makes it ideal for terri hiking socks. Don't you just love how each breed of sheep has its own wonderful qualities! Sara

Sara - those are great! Are they hand knit or machine knit?

The small size is for people with little feet. The size 9-11 is for your average woman. The size 10-13 is made with larger men's feet in mind. Hope that helps! Sara

holy-moly Sara, did you make these yourself? They are gorgeous! Are the sizes you are offering leaning toward men or are they better suited to women? I'd like to buy a couple of pairs..most interested in the small size! Wow...knitting socks is nothing but a labor of love! Sending mine, ~julia hayes
