I'm glad you liked that too!

I'll have to put the Wedding Present on the list to check out. People keep telling us we sound like this or that and it's NEVER anything we're familiar with.

No rush on the Poke, whenever you get around to it is fine. Maybe we'll come up with something to swap...

Now I KNOW we're just alike, Amie :) and by the way, we totally enjoyed the cd. I still have to send Poke your way (be patient with me?)...Jus said it reminds him of early "Wedding Present" music, which is a compliment, because he loves that band :)

I'm glad you liked it!

Here's how bad things get before I've had my morning coffee: my first thought was, "Oh, I should take a look at that book again when I get home, I don't remember much of the plot."

Duh.

Wow, Amie! The Whistle for a Wind book I bought was really good! It had everything an 11-13 year old might want in it...mystery, history, conflict, love, good triumphing over evil, and nice moral to the story :) Finished it last night!

I'm pretty sure Blue Willow sold at the garage sale also. Sorry I didn't update this better...I was kinda thinking of it as over on the 11th, but of course it's still here online. I'll let you know for sure on Saturday when I unpack everything.

Amie (what a pretty spelling!!) do you still have Blue Willow? My daughter collected a Blue Willow children's dish set as a child and now has Blue Willow china as her fine china in her new household as an old married woman (all of one year!!). I think it would be grand to give her the book for Christmas for our future grandchildren - may they be many. :-)

I am in no hurry and wouldn't mind waiting to see if the other two are in the boxes! Thanks for taking the time to look!

April, it looks as though all I've got left of those three is The Enormous Egg. If you'd like that one by itself, let me know. And if you'd like to wait a couple of days, it's possible that the other two might turn up when I actually set up the garage sale again on Saturday. (Last Saturday's sale ended in a rainstorm, so we packed up in rather crazy fashion!)

Thanks Amie!

Oh, gosh April! I'm not sure. We sold so much stuff on Saturday, I don't remember exactly what books went. I'll get into the boxes this evening and let you know if I've still got any of those books.

I just saw that you were having a garage sale on the 11th...am I too late? I hope not!

Just wondering...did anyone receive your books yet? Not sure how long media mail usually takes.

Tomorrow is the Dundee Days community garage sale, so the remaining books (along with 2 carloads of other stuff!) will be going there. If you are interested in any of them, let me know today.

OK, consider those two books taken. Yikes, I can't remember how to edit my original post...I'll get them crossed off the list as soon as I figure it out.
FebruaryViolet Posted - Jun 30 2009 : 07:25:59 AM
Yes, 2 books. The Jessie Stewart and the one set in Maine. Email me through the forum and I will send you a check. I don't have paypal either :)
