Posted - Jan 05 2009 : 1:36:50 PM After much soul searching I have decided to retire The Rustic Cottage. Everything in my Etsy shop is half price and limited to the quantities on hand.
There are so many soap makers in the market and I have found myself wanting to take a different direction with my business. For now, I will take a break and work on some ideas that have been bouncing around in my head.
Thank you for your support and your business - I appreciate it so much!

Posted - Jan 23 2009 : 10:15:44 AM Allison - I was going to reopen my Etsy shop on February 1st but am not sure if that will happen now. I'm still working on some new things and I don't think they'll be ready by then. I have decided to keep The Rustic Cottage - after so many kind emails and comments to do so.

I too am saddened by your store closing. I love your calendula soap so much. I am so glad I got that last order in, but will definitely miss the soap when it is used up.
