Posted - Dec 29 2008 : 3:17:36 PM I will try and post another one tomorrow. Have to think what I want my next theme to be. I have to get some mailing stuff, you know brown wrap and big envelopes. They are calling for more bad weather here in the next few days. Oh boy, that will be good. I always sleep with the window opened. Love to hear the wind and rain and what ever else is going on out there. I have a nice LL. BEAN night gown and a down conforter, which I have to tell you, I usually have to kick the conforter off. Those things really hold the heat. Going to go do a little knitting now, and then get my book and head to bed. Probably have kids tomorrow, no school this week, have to take my daughter to work and pick her up, and get a few groceries. NANCY JO

Posted - Dec 29 2008 : 10:19:19 PM I love looking at your collections of sale goodies. So different and all so cute!
I spent today teaching myself how to download the photos from my new digital camera onto the computer. It was a spring like day here, so I also swept the porch and watered the garden. It is hard to imagine leaving the window open during such cold weather where you are, but I bet it is neat to hear the outdoor sounds. I think those homes in the north are better insualted than here in the south.....they seem to stay warmer in the cold.
My grands are in JAcksonville, FL with their other grandparents, so I will not have them this week. I miss them already! :)

Posted - Dec 29 2008 : 4:55:52 PM What fun it is to view all these goodies, I'm trying to behave myself, so I'll just be ogling the merchandise....I should start clearing things away here, but i never seem to get around to it...I've been sewing like a demon the last couple days, I'm making a really wild looking scrap quilt. I keep finding bits and pieces of quilts I made years ago. I think scrap quilts are my favorites to make, but then of course I always think applique is my favorite when I'm doing that. It is good to appreciate all your options...
I'm getting tired of this stinky weather too, Nancy Jo. Tomorrow the library, and I hope I get my car back Wednesday. There are already huge potholes in the road I live on, and we've only had a couple of storms!
I think your knitting looks great, I miss doing that, it is so soothing (until you get the carpal tunnel) Well it's pretty late and I promised my kids I'd make them something wonderful so I guess I better hotfoot it to the kitchen and get cooking...
