I've been working on a recipe for herbal skin salve for quite a while and finally have it just like I wanted it! Made with pure olive oil infused with calendula, mango butter, cocoa butter, rice bran oil, jojoba oil, beeswax, and just a touch of lavender essential. It is great for dry winter skin, cracked heels, dry cuticules and just about anywhere. I especially wanted to find ingredients that would be helpful to those with eczema or sensitive skin. I just listed the new salve in my Etsy shop today so stop by and take a peek!

Betty - thank you so much for ordering! I'm sure the bars will be ok in their pockets. I hope your DS and DIL like them and that they will help their hands. I couldn't make it without using one but I'm liking the herbal salve really well too. I've been putting it on at night when I go to bed.

I purchased two tins of cream from The Rustic Cottage and I can't wait to see the faces of my son and DIL when they open the package. DS will know what it is for, but I'm not sure DIL will. However, I just wanted to tell you that their hands get very dry in the winter from handling all the mail that they do and I'm hoping that this is going to be just the right thing for them. The tins are small enough to shove into their pockets and I'm hoping their body heat won't melt them. I know the trucks they use in delivering the mail aren't all that well heated either.

That looks like good stuff! I just bought something similar in a 20 oz. jar for my barn- yours looks like a good thing to have in the houes for the people, although it's possible to use it on pets too. Great idea Kay!
