Posted - Nov 27 2008 : 9:36:15 PM I don't sell directly from my blog, but I do promote my products on my blog. I just posted tonight about Christmas items, go take a look at www.patriciarose-apotpourriof.blogspot.com I have had good luck with this, but like any business venture it takes a lot of time and attention to get things off the ground. I know several ladies who have set up the free websites and they are doing well too. I know a lot of the ladies use Etsy. I have some items up there as well, but have not had a lot of luck selling from there. I think it's more a matter of I don't know enough about it to get very good results. Hope this has helped some. Posted - Nov 24 2008 : 09:14:09 AM I haven't seen too many people sell right off of their blog, but I'm kinda new to blogging. I've just started to use my blog, www.modfarmgirl.blogspot.com to advertise my shop that is on Etsy. It seems to work well, and many other people have had success from blogging about their handmade goods. You make very cute stuff, Mikesgirl! Good luck!

Posted - Nov 23 2008 : 2:20:45 PM I have a web shoppe, but it's easy to sell on a blog too. I use blogger. If you have a paypal accountyou can make buttons for "add to cart" and "buy now" then you don't have the headache and huge expense of setting up your own shopping cart. All of that is free- a really good way to start up a hond craft -type business. YOu can post pictures, make slideshows like I do with them on photobucket, etc. I learned myself just by playing around with those things and trying new things.
