Posted - Nov 23 2008 : 1:09:08 PM Here are a couple of pictures from the Christmas show I did this weekend. My two holiday jackets are on the front of the booth - the snowman and the gingerbread man. Considering the economy, it was a pretty good show. I can see that I"m going to have to start taking credit cards though - any of you have experience with that? Any good credit card processing companies or any to watch out for?

Posted - Nov 26 2008 : 07:08:47 AM Beautiful work Sherri. We use a company called Intuit for my husband's business. You would need a laptop and internet access in order to do that, but we like them a lot.

Posted - Nov 24 2008 : 05:32:21 AM Nice looking both....the comment you made about doing well in spite of the economy....over the years it seems I have noticed that during bad economic times, hand-made goods do better. That seems to be when people start making things again, instead of buying them, and also want to help "small busines" too. I hope you keep having success, because your things are very pretty!

Posted - Nov 23 2008 : 11:20:39 PM I use ProPay. It costs about $60 a year plus the processing fees but is a good investment. You can call with your cell phone to get approval. You don't need to have a terminal or imprinter right away. I do want to get an imprinter. They also give you a debit card so you can have instant access to your funds after they have cleared. I got it for the Farmer's Market and will be using it at bazaars. People like the convenience of being able to use a debit or credit card.

Posted - Nov 23 2008 : 5:42:35 PM Sherri- paypal has a virtual terminal that you can use to accept CC payments via phone, mail fax etc. If you have internet access at your shows, you could take a laptop with you and use the virtual terminal process at your booth.
