All advice is welcome! Thanks in advance!

Posted - Nov 17 2008 : 09:58:34 AM New question. Would love your feedback on lighting of the photos. When you take your own photos, do you add extra light? Wondering if I should re-shoot and post. I've added some new items today. See what you think and thanks in advance for feedback on this issue!

Posted - Nov 17 2008 : 04:57:26 AM Congrats on your new shop. I just opened my shop as well but I did learn one thing from ebay that I put on my policys is that I am not resonsible for damages once mailed if they do not purchase insurance. Just something to think about. Good luck. Karen

Posted - Nov 16 2008 : 7:36:15 PM Ann, congrats on your new etsy shop! My advice would be to make your sure your return policy is clear! I only accept paypal, but I have taken checks from some of the ladies on MJF!

Posted - Nov 15 2008 : 1:24:32 PM Thank you so much for the feedback. I am set up with paypal. I was debating about checks. Have you ever had a problem with that? I accept them locally when I do shows, but wasn't sure about thru this. Shipping is the other question, but I think that I'll get that figured out as I go. So far: www.forresterfarm.etsy.com. More yet to come. I'll get there :)!

Posted - Nov 15 2008 : 1:20:54 PM I think it makes a huge difference to offer paypal..and I recomend it for sure. I was hesitant..but you do get alot more sales and I have never had a minute's problem. Congrats on your new shop! Etsy is really inexpensive to list things at...20 cents per item to list and it stays up for 6 months before relisting if it dosn't sell.

Posted - Nov 15 2008 : 11:22:57 AM I don't have any advice, but I have been meaning to ask similar questions about Etsy. I'd like to set up my own Etsy store, but I have many questions and my husband-to-be is very hesitant to let me use the credit card to set it up because of fears about using it online. He's also afraid that we will spend money to put things up in the store and not sell enough to make it worth it.
Congratulations on your store! I'd love to take a look.
