Hi All:
A couple of weeks or so ago I started an Etsy store mostly selling handmade items I make with wool from my flock plus other items. I am very excited because my first sale (and only so far) was to Clara Parkes of Knitters Review. She bought some of our Coopworth yarn and said it was fantastic and she's going to do a review of it on her Knitter's Review website and in her newest book. Pitter patter goes my shepherd's heart!
Anyhow, I've been keeping this Etsy thing kind of low-key but notice people on here are tooting their Etsy horns a lot, so thought...why not join in?
Thanks for taking the time to do this for me. Here is the store location http://www.farmhouseflair.etsy.com

Thanks girls. Now that I've learned to "heart" folks, I've been hearting all of you too! I have been so busy creating gifts and finishing up UFO's lately, I haven't added much to the store but I do have some yarns drying from the dye pot and hope to get them listed soon.
Stay warm.

Oh, that makes me want to learn how to knit! The yarn is yummy looking and the pinkeeps are adorable. I may just *have* to get one. I'm going to heart you.

Jami, I love your etsy store...I love the pillow of the girl and sheep....can you believe that? I also like your yarn. Good luck on the new store. I am dropping hints.

Your shop is great! I have also "hearted" you! I tried to send you an e'mail, but it came back undeliverable for some reason. . .I was wondering about bartering or buying some of your wool for pinkeeps. Let me know how it works, as I've never done it before, but I had seen a forum about it a while back. Thank you! Deb :)

I'm loving that cowboy pillow as well. So awesome that it has a wool batt too.
(and of course the yarn, that goes without saying. ;) )

Good luck Jami!

Thanks Dalyn. I did figure out how to "heart" someone...figured out you all meant to add you to my favorites...LOL...just takes me a while to tune in to the lingo!
Dalyn...you aren't very far from me. Someday I need to get down to see you. I have been making some sheep milk soap and for now just using it for gifts and personally, but wouldn't mind trying to sell some on the Etsy site. I don't have a lot of milk because I just milked out the ewes during weaning time and used that and store colostrum in the freezer but can't use that for soap.

Have a great day girls. I'm heading to Seattle to take my mom for a surgery at Harborview...#3! Yikes...Etsy is going to be on the back burner for today.

Hi Jami

I know you asked me how to "heart" someone on the etsy dialogue...it's easy, there is a toolbar on the right and in it there is the option of making a site or product a favorite of yours. You would have to go into my site to do it....I did the same for you yesterday...if all of us farmgirls support each other...everyone benefits...

Ok...I'm really going to bed now

Well, you all made my heart pitter-patter again! Thanks for the feedback. I need to get better at taking pictures...I know that's important and on my list of improvements. I am working on hand dyed carded batts right now and hope to have them listed soon. The colors are really fun. Thanks for hearting me...in more ways than one!
