I posted some of this on the sewing/crafting thread last week. It came from the house of a friend whose mom passed away several years ago. She sewed everything they wore and this material was stored in a wooden box. We know she bought a lot of material from Rose's and T.G. & Y. stores. Those stores haven't been here for 20 years at least. It was a little musty, so my dh laundered it and I took it to the farm with me and laid it on the grass in the sun while I painted the camper. I've taken a lot to the antique mall and put it in my booth. I'm listing some here to see it anyone's interested. Prices do not include shipping. Thanks for looking.

I've added a few things from my antique mall 'stash' on here, too. I'll note which ones are mine.

Mike told me last Saturday(10/18) that his brother found more material upstairs. I haven't seen it yet, but I'll post when I get it.

I meant to say this yesterday, but in my haste to exit the building for the fire drill, it didn't get in here...if you want more than one of the larger cotton pieces, the price would be $10.00 each plus shipping.

7. Also from the mall stuff: green barkcloth drapery panel - 27 1/2 " wide across the pleated top and 44" wide across the bottom by 52" tall. $30.00 plus shipping

9.New fabric(mine): RJR 'Summers at Aunt Janes' tiny pink/yellow flowers on pale yellow background-40"wide, 9 yards long: $25.00 plus shipping

Oh, Janice, found a photo of the green with red flowers, it's got peonies on it, it has a single shot up above! I would also be interested in #17 the red and gold leafy pattern, and #9 the goldenrod pattern. Please let me know,
Thanks,
Pat

Hi Janice, I'm new to posting here. If you have the white fabric with the roses (in the picture with a group of fabrics)that's in the top portion of the photo and behind the turquoise, and the khaki (?) with green leaves and red flowers bottom right of picture I would be interested. How do we pay for this? and what would the shipping be to 12549?

my GOODNESS Janice you poor thing. Sounds like a big mess there! just take care of yourself ok??
Amie C. Posted - Sep 19 2008 : 05:23:36 AM
I'm sorry to hear you hurt yourself. What a terrible time to be laid up, with the power out and probably lots of cleanup to deal with.

I'm not in a rush about the fabric, so please don't put yourself to any extra trouble.

Hi, everybody! I know I owe several of you an email about final prices(Maggie and Stephanie, for sure.) I'm still limping around from the bad fall I took on Tuesday. I was at home yesterday, resting with multiple ice packs on my knees. Wish the swelling would go down more! :( I promise I will email you on Saturday. My post office has not had power since last Friday. I hope they're back in business by now. It's been five days since Ike hit here and the city is still a mess. Amie - I will check on that material tonight and email you, too. I don't think it's a thick material. There was a bolt of thick material, but it was too much for us to deal with and I think we just threw it out.

Last time I looked, the pink peony material was still available. I'm not sure how to ask this, but is that a thick material (like drapes) or a thin cotton material (like a sundress)?
prairielandherbs Posted - Sep 15 2008 : 10:00:11 AM
