Why thank you kindly, Frannie.

Your house, by the way, is the stuff of my dreams. I saw it in Country Living years ago and put it in my scrapbook. I would love to talk to you about it because having an OLD, OLD log home is on my "To Do" list.

I have heard from several customers that they saw my purse in Country Home but had a terrible time tracking me down. It makes me wonder how many people weren't able to or just gave up? They omitted some info on the page that my purse appeared on, so I can see how you'd have to be pretty determined to find it (and let me tell you, there are some determined women out there!). Would it be bad form of me to mention this to the magazine? Since I didn't pay for the space or anything, I'm not sure.

What say the Farmgirls?

And guess what - the day I bought the Country Home magazine mine came in the mail. I guess I'll just have to visit you and have you autograph one for me so I can frame it and say, "I knew her when....!"

HA! Good one, Karen.
I somehow ended up with two copies in the mail after I bought one. Figures.

alright, y'all have convinced me. I'm just a little weirded out about having pics of myself and my house in a magazine when it doesn't really have much to do with what I'm selling... I won't include my kids, which they suggested.

I'll keep ya posted on this.

Counntry Woman is a great magazine. It is published by Reiman Publications, the people who do Taste of Home etc. It really is a great, quality publication.

I went to the website - apparently they have 1 million or so readers. I'm getting stage fright (only half kidding).

Thanks, Karen!
I JUST got my issue today, so I can sympathize with you.

Looks like COUNTRY WOMAN is interested enough to possibly do a story, but they want photos of me, my house, my studio... I'm not sure I want to be that "out there." I don't subscribe to the magazine so I don't even know what it's like. Are any of you Farmgirls familiar with it? Should I or shouldn't I?

Hey, Ginny, I was in Wal-Mart today and walked by the magazine display. When I saw the Country Home magazine on the stand I rushed right over and started thumbing through it til I found your bag. I thought, "I 'KNOW' her!!!" So proud of you, farmgirl! The bag looks great (on page 20). I subscribe to Country Home but it sometimes takes almost two weeks from the time it's on the newstand til it shows up in my mailbox. I couldn't wait!!!!!

God bless -

Yup. Plus the wholesale orders that aren't listed on Etsy. And a couple of sales from my website. Guess you Farmgirls know what I'll be doing this week... Not a bad "problem" to have!
