I try to imagine their new best friend playing with them and loving on them, and of course my own little girl has to try each one out. She usually filches them off the sewing table while I am up getting fabric to make a dress or a shirt. (She's 14 going on 15 months old) She usually hugs them and carries them around for about five minutes before getting distracted by something. :D Sometimes she goes back to them and swipes them again...but she has her own. In fact I just gave her doll new hair! Her doll now has "Carnival" Hair. Variegated multicolored yarn that goes from pink to purple to reds to oranges and yellows with some green and blue thrown in as well.
