Posted - Apr 08 2007 : 4:56:11 PM Well, where do I start. Today we canceled the Easter Dinner, as FIL and his wife were to come. They live less than one mile down the road... Yup, snow drifts that the tractor (big old farm tractor) could not get through. The wind was blowing so hard, that the top of this old house was weaving (Seemed like it anyway), and cooooold! The four of us stayed home, and had an Easter dinner with ham, potatoes, turnip, carrots, onions, colli-flower, gravy, home made bread, and apple pie. I did not even get to the pie....boy do I love my turnip.

Posted - Apr 13 2007 : 1:58:29 PM We had a cold, rainy Easter too! But Monday was warm enought to hide eggs in the yard...Tuesday it was snowing and cold, but not much accumulation... My trouble is that our house only has a gas dryer hookup and my new Maytag Neptune set is electic...so I am hanging all the clothes out on the line...but hey, at least I can do laundry! I hated going to the laudromat while were living in the motel!
