A beautiful spring day today. Almost 80 and sunny with a light breeze. Now if we could just get some more rain...
I'll be keeping all of you farmgirls in tornado areas in my thoughts and prayers.

Remember in my previous post how I said the weather was supposed to change? Well it sure did. Bad thunderstorms yesterday with a tornado sighting about 30 miles away but no touchdowns. And did it ever get cold.

Supposed to get a hard freeze tonight so the fruit trees are in real trouble. Apples, peaches and pears will all be more expensive this year for sure.

May God bless those who love the soil,

Patsy

Oh, I hear you Carrie! The high today is only -7 celsius, and there's snow flying right now. And it's April 3. Oh well, I guess that's what I get for living in Winter-peg Mani-snow-ba.

Carrie,
Spring is right here in the midwest! We have gorgeous weather today, in the low 70's and have had pretty good all weekend if you discount the thunderstorms at night. In the 70's. Everything is budding out and everyone is wearing shorts and tshirts.......but beware. Down in the 30's at night by the end of the week. But it was nice while it lasted. Glad I didn't plant anything yet.

May God bless those who love the soil,

Patsy

We aren't as extreme here. BUT, while we have been haveing nice but chilly spring weather it snowed overnight. I could not believe it. My daughter called to see if it was snowing because where she works a lady told her, as she drove through Stanwood it was a white-out. CRAZY weather!!
