We had a gorgeous day today -- sunny with temps in the low 50's and a light breeze. But the forecast is bad storms tonight and rain & stormy tomorrow. Already the wind is really strong. I love to be inside and listen to the wind, but we've had enough rain for awhile and I dread more mud and mess.

Hi Nan-

How are you holding out in snowing Colorado? Hope you are warm and cozy!

We have now decided in our part of Colorado that if it is snowing it must be Thursday. We have snow scheduled for the next three days here. We are just below the Wyoming boarder in the Northeast portion of the state. We have been here starting on 8 months now. We have now seen 3 of the four season and they all have snow. Really we like it and the dogs love it. Of course they don't have to mop the floor.

We had some storming going on yesterday. Today is bright and sunny but EXTREMELY windy.
Can't wait for those gentle spring breezes and warm spring days.

Oh dear - I sort of hoped that snow was out of the picture for those of us in the "lower 48." I am feeling so "springy!" We've had good weather the past week or so, but it really cooled down tonight - we'll see what mother nature has in store for tomorrow! I sure could use a big rainstorm...

I am SO glad to hear that all are safe with the return of wintery weather to some parts. Hang in there - spring's on the way!!!

XOXO, Libbie

Bad storms here yesterday also. Had to head over to mom and dads and hide out in the basement for awhile. Very cool here today and supposed to drop to 28 degrees tonight. And I thought spring was here for good. I'll have to cover up my rose bush and lilac bush. Grrrr That's southern Indiana for you though. I love it but the weather is ifffffy this time of year. Have a great day all and stay safe from the wind and stormy weather!

Bad storms here yesterday too. A tornado spotted about 30 miles away but no touchdowns thank God.

Supposed to get a hard freeze tonight.

May God bless those who love the soil,

Patsy

We had major wind and storms last night - lots of old trees down in the older sections of Louisville and thousands of people w/out power. And the temp went from 83 to 59 in about two hours. This weekend, we're looking at the possibility of a freeze...grrrrr.....:(

Looks like a lot of us are in on this one, its really windy here, 40 to 50 mile an hour winds, rain, more wind. Now this is not good, no thrift store today. So I'm making choc. chip cookies and trying to think up something for the may day exchange.

Tonight is the kind of night that Patti mentioned above - windy, windy, windy - with that touch of really cold air that makes it feel like the real storm must be blowing in any minute now. I sure hope it blows in a great rainstorm overnight, and leaves us with a beautiful day tomorrow. We'll see, I guess!

XOXO, Libbie

We've apparently got a bit more nasty wintery mix on the way to us as well. I'm so ready for spring! Good luck with your batch of weather!
