I know it's nothing compared to what some people have seen this winter, but after an entire winter of no more than a dusting of snow, we finally have SNOW in Altamont!! The storm seems to winding down, and we have just under 2 feet!! It's so nice to see it finally looking like winter!

We got between about 25 inches at my house . My photos are here....
http://www.flickr.com/photos/33975308@N00 The split rail fence is a good indicator of how much snow we got. I could see it at 11 am, and then by 4pm it was covered in snow...My dog sure did enjoy it though! I got to stay home too, and there are no patients to be seen today. It is so cold and blustery here today. It looks really pretty though! Peace,

Stacy

So pretty, Kelly. Here in my part of KY, we haven't had anything more than a dusting once or twice. As irritating as snow can be in large doses, I'm actually wishing for some measurable snow.

Kelly, my back yard (in Rochester) looks about the same as yours. We got about two feet yesterday in one fell swoop! I don't get snow days anymore, but I took a personal day and called it a snow day. MMM, hot cocoa...

So pretty. I know it's probably awful to get through, but it just looks beautiful.

Wow!! Our total was 18 inches, when all was said and done...not as huge as some, but enough to get me two days off from school

We got the same storm. We got around 14-16 inches. It is the first storm of the year. No school yesterday or today and Friday and Monday are scheduled mid winter break days. It is so good to be snowed in!!!
