Posted - Feb 01 2007 : 06:55:57 AM My husband sent this to me, it was going around at work.
"SNOW-klahoma" Sing with me!
SNOW-klahoma, where the cold comes sweepin' down the plain; And the piles of sleet beneath your feet Follow right behind the freezing rain. SNOW-klahoma, Ev'ry night my honey lamb and I Travel home from work and hope some jerk Doesn't wreck our car in passing by.
We know we belong to the land But it could use more salt and more sand!
And when we say Yeeow! Ayipioeeay! We're only sayin' you're slick as snot, SNOW-klahoma! SNOW-klahoma, Oy Vey!

Posted - Feb 03 2007 : 6:21:24 PM I've heard there were lots of accidents, 2 days the traffic was bumper to bumper. However, in my little house it has been safe & warm. Just nursing two children through really yucky colds. Today was beautiful, warmish and sunny. Guess the news made it worse than it was.

Posted - Feb 01 2007 : 07:03:06 AM FUNNY, Rebecca! :) Here in Louisville, the powers that be can't seem to put ENOUGH salt and brine solution on the main roads. Unfortunatly, most people who drive don't live on a main roads, so we slip, slide and hit each other and objects on our way TO the main road!
