Posted - Jan 15 2007 : 1:02:21 PM This has been a very weird winter so far here in Wisconsin. We got dumped on with snow early, but then the past few weeks it has been up into the 50s. But last night it started snowing and it hasnt stopped yet. It is so beautiful, Ive been watching it off and on all morning. I love that I am at home and not stuck in an office somewhere and unable to view this wonderful white stuff.

Posted - Jan 15 2007 : 6:11:13 PM Eren, you're getting the snow that we just got! It dumped a nice fluffy pile of 4" on us and then moved along to WI. Perfect. My mom just came over to play with (now on-the-mend!) Jackson so I got to go out and shovel. I say "got to" because I WANTED to! The fresh cold air, the light fluffy snow, the exercise, being free without a child clinging to me for one hour...it was brilliant. And the sun was setting just when I was out. Even more brilliant!
I also love the photography and the fingerless mitts. I'm knitting a pair for my bestest friend right now! My pattern is from Knitty - "Fetching" from this summer. Here's the link for anyone who's interested!

Posted - Jan 15 2007 : 1:25:55 PM Karin, those are actually fingerless gloves I crocheted. I made them awhile back, but it hasnt really been cold enought to wear them. My hands are constantly cold in the winter especially when Im typing away at the computer, so hopefully these little lovlies are a solution. Thank for taking a peak!
(Oh, and Jo, I went by the pattern in the Stich n' [bleep] Crochet book, but I am really bad at following patterns, so I "improvised" a lot, but they fit and I like them.)
**edited...It bleeped the name of the book, that is so funny!!!!**
