This is the view from my computer desk, out my living room window. This morning the tops of the trees were getting the sun and they all looked like gold filigree.

Snow happy Daisy.

when we were in Alaska one of the times. We took a ride on a dog sled , and they gave us some dog booties, that they use for the Ididarod(sp)races. I still have them, they velcro on pretty good.

Love the pictures! Boy do I miss snow. This weekend we may get freezing rain, but I think that may be the closest we come. We'll have to wait & see. A lot of times we at least get one day with some snow...usually in February. TX has very strange weather. I remember one year when I was in high school, it snowed in Feb. the next day it was 80 degrees.

Wow, beautiful! I love that part of the country. I am so ready for a good snowfall but so far just dreary, gray and rainy. It hasn't even been that cold here in central ohio. I almost moved to the Pacific Northwest about 10 years ago and everone said "bit it's so grey and rainy" Apparently they don't look out the window much!

So true Meggie, us westcoasters are certainly a whiny lot, particularly when it snows.
Daisy just loves the cold and the old gal just turns into a puppy again when it snows, you can see the smile on her face! We call her "truffle dog" as she runs along with her nose in the snow. As long as we keep her feet free of packed in snow, she'll stay outside all day long. Maybe I should sew her up some boots!

So pretty!
Our snow is sticking out here too. It's cold (well for us southern BC wimps lol!), but we have such brilliant sunshine today - what a nice change, everything sparkles

Beautiful, Diane. That first photo looks just magical. Then when I scrolled down to the second one, I saw the sweet dog and thought - oooohhh, poor cold puppy feet! My 'Kids' hate to have cold feet! LOL

brrrr, oh gosh, I wouldn't be able to handle all that cold. yep..I'm a big sissy..ha. born and raised in FL. it certainly looks like you all have more than enough for making snowmen/snowgals though and snow fights/snow angels.
actually looks pretty though, but real cold.
