Posted - Oct 31 2014 : 07:48:18 AM Hi Girls!
Well this week I finally picked the rest of the garden goodies. Got green pepper, eggplant, even yellow pear tomatoes! Most of the leaves are fallen, and the first real freeze hits tomorrow night with possible S.N.O.W. Oh well, can't complain...it's been a truly lovely fall.

Posted - Nov 18 2014 : 7:21:16 PM Snow here in lower Michigan as well and 18 degrees at 10:19 pm. I got the chicken coops and goat shelter tucked in and wind proofed. Last year it got down to 21 below zero and I didn't loose any animals thank goodness. I've been stubborn and have not turned on the heat yet. We have been heating with our fireplace insert. My toes are cold sitting here at the computer. I guess I had better put some socks on.

Posted - Nov 17 2014 : 8:57:53 PM We have a little snow on the ground but it's 15 degrees and the wind is blowing something ferocious. I need to put my car in the garage when it gets this cold. High tomorrow of thirty. Cindy

Posted - Nov 17 2014 : 6:05:47 PM Snow missed us that day. So far, we have had only one day of snow and it was just a dusting. Winter is here, but I like it. I'm ready. Deck the halls!

Posted - Oct 31 2014 : 10:19:32 AM Winter cometh!!!! Eat a warm cookie for me. Our weather here is still mild. Little bit of rain. Little bit of sun. Little bit of wind. Today we're covering up the last of our new underground water lines.
