This summer in June a storm came through Minneapolis with rain, thunder, lightning and high velocity winds. I was in California when it happened. These pictures were taken of one of the trees knocked over during the storm.

This tree fell over one block from our building.

It crunched a car.

Most of the trees in our city forest have shallow roots.

All of the trees blown down fell to the east.

Try everything once. The fun things try twice.
