Brrr!

I'm starting a fire in the wood burner now. Crazy weather.

This weather is crazy! Too hot in 80 degree weather last week, last night in the 20's! Thank goodness I could bring all my plants in pots back inside. Turned the heat back on, too. Yea, my son was wearing shorts and a t-shirt for school, too. I made him wear a sweatshirt (he grumbled). After school, chattering teeth! Hmmmm...mom was right?

Agreed! Last week I wore a sundress to work one day; this week, sweaters and my heavy coat! It's supposed to reach 69 today, which I suppose is a decent compromise.

Mother Nature is totally off her meds this year.

A hook, a book, and a good cup of coffee....

I hear ya! Last week was in the high eighties. We were wearing sandals and shorts. Last night got down to the low twenties with a windchill of 17. Had to cover the snowpeas so they would not get frost damage. Winter is back. Booooo!

Us too!!

Had a fire in the wood stove for three days now---I even had DH cover the strawberries because they called for frost last night and we got it good. I wish mother nature would make up her mind!

Yes here too. We went from actually breaking a sweat in the garden to FREEZE warning tonight and early tomorrow. The heat kicked on just a bit ago so I know it's cooling off out there. Brrr..........

hugs,

I couldn't take it any longer....fired up the corn burner too. Sheesh. I had to laugh. My son went out in shorts and came right back in and changed. I think he thought I was kidding him when I said it was winter again.

Totally crazy! Our wind is howling away outside, the trees are swaying, the clouds have been rolling past and lightning occasionally lights up the sky. We all had to put on socks and sweatshirts today. I had to check the thermostat too!

Playing in the Sonshine

and now it's pouring down rain!!!! Just glad it isn't snow! Yikes...didn't even want to say that!

I know it! 80's last week, 42 today! Good thing I let my rational thinking take over and didn't get too crazy planting!
