Ladies~ NJ when the summer heat hits is hell. It was blistering here yesterday and today the heat index is supposed to bring us to another blistering day! As I've said before - it's not the actual heat that is so bad but the humidity is awful. I actually heard an lady say that she was going back to Florida because the humidity was not so bad there!

All my Jersey farm sisters -stay cool and be safe!

101 here in NW Ohio yesterday and dryer than a popcorn fart. Walked outside from work and it nearly took my breath away.

A gorgeous 84 today with very low humidity..........ahhhhhh!

It's horribly hot here it Texas too! We always have a hot summer but this seems to be so early this year. These temps sound more like August numbers not early June!
I'm making sure to check on elderly friends/neighbors because they tend to not turn on the fans/air conditioners and the house can get way too hot. Also double-checking pets every day to make sure they are doing alright.
Gonna be a long summer...
