That's what our forecast says. High of around 95° and will feel like 99°. I watered the garden early, and won't be doing much of anything. I am going to tell dd1 that I don't advise horse riding either. I'm sure her horse won't feel like doing anything either. Too easy to pass out and get dehydrated today. What's your weather like?

90 yesterday, best I've seen today is 64. Quite a shock to the system, had to close the windows because the house was getting too cold! At least I can get out in the yard for a bit!

My kitchen was 93° yesterday. Today, it's still hot, but better. I was able to weed around the rhubarb, and need to return to weed around the strawberries. We are expecting thunderstorms. I sure hope it rains.

Hot,Hot, and Hot--104 day before yesterday, and 103 yesterday and today was 101, I can't believe how hot it is and its only June, wait until August and Sept, thats usually our hottest months. And we have had no rain, it has rained around us, but not much. I was in the garden at 6:00 this morning trying to pick my squash, tomatoes, beans, and peppers, by 8:00 I was drenched with sweat. You all stay as cool as you can. Farmgirl #946 Linda

It's hot in Illinois, too. And horseback-riding is probably not a good idea--I noticed on Sunday that all the horses I saw were madly swishing their tails, so I know there's horse flies out there. it's not fun to ride a horse that's been bitten by a horsefly:(

We saw 95, but it actually felt better than yesterday! About the same temperature as yesterday, but today we had a breeze, which made all the difference. We take our evening walk at 8 or 8:30 so it can start to cool off first, and then still only walk about 1 1/4 miles.
