We had a tornado touch down here in my town of Laurel. It didn't do any damage here but some small towns north got smashed pretty bad. There was two inch hail out where I keep my horse and lots of wind!!

Alee:
Happy to hear you and Tala were safe. Any updates on the tornado?

Hi Debbie! We have a crawl space but that is it. Normally we get "50 year tornados". Well we had a hugely devestating one last year on father's day and now several tornados last night. Luckily it did minimal damage but I am shocked! I can hardly believe it. I had no idea the forecast was for tornadoes. I was out on a huge trail ride with Tala and was about 3 miles from the barn when the storm started rolling in. All I was thinking was that we were going to get more rain. So we headed back for the barn but I wasn't in any particular hurry. I still haven't heard how they fared last night.

Oh my goodness Alee, I am so thankful you and your family are alright. It is going to be a very bad tornado season, all the weather has been so strange this year across the country.
Do you have a basement or storm shelter you can go too? Thank you for letting us know you are alright.
Farmgirl Hugs,
Debbie
