It's 88 degrees here in St. Johns, Michigan, right now. The record is 93, so we're flirting with that.

We're cooler today---it's only 93, with a heat index of 100! This past weekend, we broke records---some places hit triple digits but in Starkville we capped out at 99 degrees, with a heat index of 117. What we really need is some rain---this heat has not been kind to the gardens.

It was 103 yesterday. And 105 the day before.

Two weeks ago we set record lows 3 mornings in a row, yesterday we set a new record high 101. Today we are looking for the same. |

Wow, that's hot for Mich. It's 98 here today. But we are getting some clouds! I was outside working and was sweating like crazy. I sat under the shade tree and it felt SO good. Almost like AC. Thank goodness for shade trees.

It has been warm here in the Chicagoland area too. They had to close the beach the other day due to all the heat illnesses that there were.

It's hot here too. 95 degrees with a heat index of 114! I'm inside for the day until evening. Stay hydrated Jessie!
