Keep the mid west in prayer. My goodness looks like these areas in for a bumpy summer!

carol, someone at work told me the hospital got hit bad? Is that true? Omg...i hope not. I know what kind of panic can set in.. My son was in hospital burn unit. Just had graft...on the fifth floor. Earthquake. His nurse said get in doorway with her. My son was 20 feet away... The look on his face... I couldn't leave him.. I went to him. And stayed.. I told the nurse if anything happened it would be to both of us.. Through the years I pray all the time..dont let it be the hospitals...we need them when there is a disaster....

I was at work St Joseph Hospital, we had no idea how the weather was, until it was announced over head. The other side of the hospital could actually see the tornado on Stateline. Every one did everything right, but this was the first time I was at work durning an actual warning. Lots of prayers going on!

Checking in from the Kansas City area. It has been an exciting afternoon! Downtown KC offices all evacuated to the lower levels. My husband texted me from the stairwell of our office building. I was working from home today because Wilma, one of my dogs, was feeling poorly. The pups and I spent some time in the safe area of the house as everything passed by. Funnel clouds touched down all over the metro area very briefly, but the worst damage from this storm system appears to be in Sedalia, MO.
