We've had thunder and lightning several times lately. The forecast calls for more of both tomorrow afternoon and evening. I'm so ready for Spring to arrive. We had a few days of cool but sunnier weather recently after a 22 day stretch of solid clouds and rain. We've already broken our local record for inches of rainfall in the month of April and we aren't even halfway through the month yet. Fortunately we haven't had alot of wind. Jess is right.....April showers will eventually bring May flowers!

Cheers! ~ Marilyn

We had rain, lightning, and thunder last Saturday night (the 9th). Our first thunderstorm of the year.

Hi All~ Was crazy through the night and still windy and raining here! I have to check the tide schedule but I am sure there is flooding. I'll have to reroute my way to work!

Hi Elaine-
Just sitting here on Long Island at my computer listening to the heavy rain and strong winds...whew- sounds like half a hurricane out there! Stay safe and dry and hopefully in the next few days we will get to see the sun!

We had a little bit. Enough to rumble through and flash a couple of times. Can hardly wait for warmer temps but they are a ways off. Rain will make for pretty flowers to come though. :)
Take care

That's what I was just thinking. That was quite a storm we had. Our usual Monday night storm. Lots of lightning. Stay safe. I hope it doesn't last long.

Our storm from yesterday has made its way to you. Keep your head down and be safe!
