We had Hundreds of geese and those white birds that look like seagulls in the field yesterday. I heard thsi loud noise while in my kitchen like a loud loud wind and looked out the window and saw hundreds of birds covering the sky and the field. The kids were in amazment and so was i. I have never seen that many birds before. What do you think it means??

I am ready for the warm weather. Bring it on. I am so tired of bein cooped up in the house!!!!

I am a bird nut so I would have loved to have seen those geese in person! I heard a goose honking out my back door tonite and ran out there trying to see it in the dark. I am so silly! :-) On year we had a flock of Cedar Waxwings stay in our back yard for about a week. I keep hoping they will come back again but haven't seen them except that one time.

I had that happen one year with black birds. There were hundreds of them all in my trees and on the property. I did'nt know what to think about it. I remember I went outside and laid on a blanket with my camera and started taking pictures. There were so many I was surrounded by them. They were not even afraid of me. There were so many people actually pulled over to the side of the road to look at them. They would wave to me. They were even walking across my blanket. It was weird. It has never happened since then. My sister called me last week and said there were lots of red birds every where in her back yard. She said it was a beautiful sight to see!!

WEll atleast i am not the only one who say this. My friend was having a b-day party for her son and when i went over to drop off my kids she asked me if i saw all the birds the other day. And she thought it was a sign or something and she also said she was glad that someone else had saw them so she was not crazy. LOL!!! I just thought it was beautiful and cool.

Wow! That is so cool! But it kind of reminds me of that Hitchcock movie, "The Birds!" LOL! That's simply amazing. Thank you for sharing! - Nini

Our are is a wintering over area for lots of different kinds of birds. these are Snow Geese. Isn't this wild. They will stay here until About March and back up north to the frozen tundra to Breed. MB
