Currently, here in Wisconsin, we are having winds up to 50 mph that is blowing around the snow that fell yesterday. There are drifts from 3-5 feet! Minnesota had lots of snow fall and the roof of the dome caved in so no football game today. I guess I will just stay home and bake and make out some Christmas cards.

Happy to be a "Raggedy Ann" in a Barbie World!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

We woke up to a temp of 9 degrees this morning with a high of 17 degrees. All those from Minnesota came here to watch their football last night after the dome collapsed. Unbelievable how far some drove. One guy from our area got caught in Canada on a highway for over 24 hours. Truck drivers were offering to let people into their rigs to keep warm and for food and drink. School has been out for the past 2 days but I had to work :O( Freeways were horrible.

Here in the Interior of Alaska it is snowing with a -7 temp forecasted to drop to -40 by tomorrow night and a high on Wednesday of -35. I had a co-worker years ago who loved it when the weather was bad. She said it made here feel really alive. I can imagine that most of you in that are being hit by this winter storm would rather feel alive with nice weather. LOL!! I really wish you safe passage through the storm and cleanup. Be safe out there.

Here in Northeast Illinois it is cold, but we avoided much of the snow. Stay warm all!

We had snow all day yesterday and got about 2-3 in of snow and then toward the evening the wind picked up and then it all got blowed around and then they canceled school and the kids have been playing in the snow drifts all day.

I am loving my country life all the time!!!!

Ohio just got it, snowing like crazy, below wind chill and the wind is terrible, the kids are still snoozing with a snow day !

I just happen to live in the area of Wisconsin that only got 2 inches of snow. And most of that hasn't stayed around as most of it is blowing away. I'm really excited about snow this year and it just won't happen! Every time I listen to the weather and they forecast 4, 6 or even 8 inches, we get 2 or less! Granted, it is very windy and cold here, but that's about it...

I haven't been outside at all, but Dianne is right; it's mighty blizzardy and blustery. I can hear the wind outside my house, and I've heard the snow plows on the streets all day! Keep warm everyone!

Here in South East Kansas, we have strong north wind and 11 degrees. BUT the sun is shinning!! I am still not going out except to feed the cats and take them some fresh water. Will have to take the trash cart down to the road sometime today. Trash pickup is early Mon morning. So will sit by the fire (if I go out and get some wood) Watch a football game, (Not from Minnesota) and generally do nothing. Maybe make a list of all the things I should be doing or will have to be done this comming week. It is supposed to get colder before it gets warmer. But no snow in the forcast.

We are drifted in here also! No going out for awhile! Will have to chore in these winds later! Maybe they will subside.
