Boy here in upper Michigan we have a wind alert. It started yesterday and continues today. I am sitting here listening to it whistle and the trees blow. It sure is windy out there today. I good Jammie day!!!!

And the wind is STILL blowing! Now the t.v. says it's going to keep on til tomorrow morning. I've never seen my yard such a wreck of leaves, sticks, and branches. It'll take me all day to clean it up!

Wind downed our neighbors tree which landed and snapped a power pole two. This is the 2nd day of no power.
Our neighbor graciously let us tap into his electricity via extension cords this evening. They are saying maybe by Thursday will will have power restored.
It has not stopped howling for two days straight-Kinda creepy and it is very dark!

Oh, how I love that sound, Beverly! We had really high winds last night and a tornado watch. Leaves covered the ground this morning like a blanket of green, brown and orange snow... Don't you just love the drama of nature? I really miss New England nor-easters, especially! Don't forget to slip on your cozy slippers and brew up a hot cup of tea! Enjoy - and be safe! Hugs - Nini
