We are currently experiencing a pretty big rain deficit here for the year. So, yesterday we had a 40% chance of severe weather. Well, God decided to make that 100%! At approximately 5:30 last night we had a crazy hail storm. Actually the longest hail storm I may have ever seen. The hail was up to 1.5 inches in diameter. Not huge, but big enough to rip gravel off of my asphalt shingles! I took a lot of pics and submitted it to our insurance co. I need a roof SO BADLY!!! Pray for us, ladies, my roof is terrible! Lol.

P.s. We had some damage done during a hurricane and they offered to repair half of the roof. Now, seriously, WHO would only replace 1/2 of their roof?????

I live in Houston too we had hail a few years ago and got our roof replaced by the insurance company. Good luck with yours.

It is so dry here in Houston. It is breezy today and the dust is getting blown around. We didn't see anything yesterday. Now the forecast is no rain for this week.
