Posted - Oct 01 2010 : 05:49:56 AM OK - we got almost 8 inches of rain yesterday and last night. My sump pump is having trouble keeping up. How's everybody else on the east coast managing this miserable weather?!?
I know we were in a drought situation, but we didn't need to make up for it all in one day!!

Posted - Oct 04 2010 : 7:08:46 PM Hey Luanne, I am in CT and I hear ya. We had about 10 inches Thursday and Friday. Two big, downed trees, one almost hit my propane tank! We had angels watching over us for sure. The stump it left is as tall as my house and looks like I should carve it into a totem pole. Made us wonder if we had a tornado touch down the way it is all twisted. Then my finished basement got water in it. At least we don't have a pad under the carpet! Drying it out but I worry about mold. Now it is raining again, but not like the other day. We went from feast to famine with the drought to rain! Take care!

Lifes not about the breaths you take, but the moments that take your breath away.

P.s. I've been playing around with the spelling of my name ( weird I know) and I've decided that I will stick with Hannah for good. Sorry I got you all confused. Hugs!! |
