I just checked the National Weather service website, looks like there is a chance of rain all week again, with 80% today. This is just plain crazy.

I wish is would stop raining here. I can't even get my garden in it has rained so much. It seems to rain everyday so it keeps it so wet that we can't do anything. I am so far behind I hope to catch up soon.

What a nice surprise Marcia! I spent the one nice day this week taking my son to run errands in town, at least there is sun predicted for the weekend. I still haven't planted tomatoes, corn, zukes or beans. Should be okay though, not much I can do about it if it's not:)

Rain here today too- going to be all day into the night. We had two days of near perfect weather so I guess I should not complain. Don't have to haul water to my garden- that's a good thing!!

We finally have some rain here. It had gotten so dry the ground was cracking and the hay growers still haven't harvested. The first harvest around here is usually in March. But in the winter we had way to much rain then it just stopped and it got dry really fast. I need to be riding every day to condition the horses for our trip but I am not going to complain about this rain. We really really needed it. We have it in the forecast every day but one for the next week.

I hope you're right, Amy. Tonight it's really nice here. On my way home from work tonight I was mentally counting all of the things I should finish planting--the rest of the tomatoes, cabbage and broccoli for the community garden, plus a few other things. When I got home it was already done! My brother-in-law did it for me today. And put up the fence for the peas. What a guy!

Amanda - it was lovely on Saturday - the best day of spring so far sitting in your yard. Thank you!!
You could maybe take the rain with you to CA - just don't unpack it till you are ready to head home:)

It just did start raining really hard here. I was hoping it wouldn't and miss us. But no. Here we go again. Now it might be another month before I can get back in the garden without sinking.

I hope ya'll don't float away.

I agree, Amy. Thanks for telling me about it last weekend. I got my tomatoes and peppers planted just in time.

I hope it slacks off some toward the end of the week. We have something called Tumbleweed Festival here next weekend. It starts on Friday with a car show(Shine) and then a Wine and Stein in the evening. There won't be many cars if it rains. Plus there are lots of outside events planned and part of it is a fundraiser for one of my pet projects--the restoration of the Seeley Theatre and Opera House. There will be tours of the theatre and rain wouldn't be good, well....except that it will prove that we fixed the leaky roof.

Even the farmers are starting to grumble about all of the rain.
