I have noticed that after a rain the frogs start doing their froggy noises. I never hear them unless it's rained. And I never see a turtle unless it's just rained also. So I think it must rain down frogs and turtles.

They are making the froggy noise real loud right now. We just had a great rain here! Everything looks so good and happy now. Thank you, God, for answering our prayers for the rain.

No more rain yet. It was a little misty this morning when I was out feeding the masses. But none since. It's supposed to be scattered showers all next week so maybe more later. It was nice while it lasted. I think to the south of us they got alot of hail. And Fla. too, apparently. I do not like hail.

Kerrieann, that story about the guys getting the turtle off the road is so sweet. And for guys to do that. Did ya'll get alot of rain? I know my little hole that fills up with water when we have lots of rain was half full yesterday. It sure was quick.

Sherry, still nothing. And mail won't run Monday either.

Our peepers (the little frogs that live in our creek) have been quiet this spring. I miss the sound now that you mention it. I wonder where they are. We have them every spring. I hope they are just late coming out.

..funny thing that you mentioned turtle.
Yesterday after the torrent flash flood stopped. A truck pulled over to my neighbors yard across the street and stopped, another truck going in opposite direction also stopped in mid-street. I was in the process of backing out my driveway and stopped because I wanted to head to the direction they were at, blocking me.. sorta. I saw a guy in the first truct come out and go around the front of his truck to the yard and placed something on the ground. The other driver got out too.. to briefly chat and went back in his truck... First one in his too and on their merry way they went. I was beginning to boil.. seeing the one put something on the ground.. and it moved. I was thinkin.. how dare he abandoning a critter! Well, I backed out and slowly drove by to see what it was... getting ready to rescue it and also calling the police. Well... it was a box turtle! I relaxed my inner anger and sighed relief. I went to get hubby and got back quickly. After I parked my "Grace". Abigail and I went to find that turtle... because I basically know where they live... the property beside ours! My conclusion of to what happened, we had flash flood rain and it does flash through our side property... so the poor fella must have been swept out of his woods and onto the road... where the water flows across in heavy rain. I placed the turlte back in that direction of the woods.. by the edge of where the wild violets and the woods meet.
