I just can't seem to get warm enough and then when I do I get too hot and start peeling the clothes. Yikes! Freezing already in Florida and it's not even March. Help! Someone must be shoveling that snow to far south this year! lol

But, I love the change from our normal 11 months of heat. I'm not complaining mind you just shouting out from my little corner of the world. My little yorkie is curled up on the bed under the covers, he's so cold.

Yes - we are freezing cold here in St. Pete, FL but I am thinking of making my famous Home-made Clam Chowder and fresh, hot bread for dinner for us and stay in and keep warm. Snow? Doubtful, but it has happened here before - in 1978 all the way down to Miami and the Bahamas! They no longer call it "Global Warming" - just "climate Change" - where our hots are hotter, our colds are colder and the storms are worse - kind of like Mother Earth going through menopause!

Well, what made it worse for me, is we had a flood in the kitchen and foyer on Monday, so between the 3 industrial fans and the 2 dehumidifiers I was dehydrated hot and then frozen. So, I've bundled up like I was outside just to keep warm on the inside. lol Today, I saw the last fan go. Yeah no mold and no more wet walls. But, now the yucky kitchen cabinets have to go and so do I. My asthma won't stand for any more contaminets. Fun! I want my calm normal little world back.

I just got done taking more water to all the critters. I went and got another round bale of hay and me and DD rolled it off the truck and into the pasture about 50 feet. That warmed us up some. Didn't last long, though.

I talked to my step dad today. He and my mom were in Savannah and he said it was about 40 there today. Cindy in Idaho is warmer than we are here.

It's so funny my friend in SC just emailed me and said it is TOO Alaska down there. She can't even go to Fla. cause its cold there too! She is a born and bred New Yorker but she has turned into a true southern girl in the years they have been down there. It's very cold here and the snow is coming down and the wind is blowing. Like single didgits and wind chill below 0. Did you see the Bills game? That gives you a good idea. Me I am sitting in my nice warm house heated by the wood stove. Have a turkey in the oven. Just happy I don't have to go out!!

I have been cutting down on the bills so we have been wearing jackets, fuzzy socks, and shoes(not normaly warn inside the house) to keep warm. I even broke out the heating pad to keep us toasty while sleeping

So much for that global warming thing. This is the coldest we've been in years! I've thought of going to my sister's in Fl. At 46 degrees, it would feel like summer! lol

You could go to one of the Bahama Is. or St. Thomas or Grand Cayman. We took a cruise there and it is nice this time of year. It's pretty sad when you have to wear your gloves in the house to keep your hands warm. My doctor always told me I could never live up north. Boy! was he right. At 46, I can't stand it now what would I do if it stayed cold for 3 months. Goodness gracious.

We could maybe go to Australia. Isn't it summer over there? That sounds like a good idea. Can we drive there, though?

Your right Brenda! It's 12:30 pm here EST and it is 45 degrees. I'm cozy on my couch with the wood burning stove heating the house. Just stoked the fire and it appears that we will be cold all week.

Ok..... how cold is it there?
I was thinking of getting the car, and just driving until it got warm enough to be comfortable! ;)
South Florida maybe? My cousin lives in Palm Beach!
