I am so excited that I went and stood in it, just to prove to myself I wasn't dreaming. I feel like its Christmas early, it has been so DRY here, for so long, We all were getting really worried about our wells. We are supposed to get 3/4 to 1 1/2 ins out of this storm, plus snow tomorrow eve, and we are supposed to have 2 more storms coming in during the week. Thank you God for listening to our prayers.

Teresa, I talked to my brother last night. He's in San Diego. He said it was pouring there. I asked him when the last time it rained there and he said last December. It only rains about 2 weeks out of the year there. How close are you to San Diego? Are you still getting rain? It's been drizzly here all day. And at 4:00 PM it is dark.

Okay Teresa:
I'm doing the "Happy Rain Dance" for you and yours. Just so happy to see your post that it was raining. Wonderful, wonderful news. May it rain for a week for you. Stay OFF off the ladders in all this rain, please. LOL

Happy for you Teresa, it's about time! We were supposed to get 10 inches of snow last night and today but it completely missed us and the sun is peeking out. More chances later in the week....Hope you get lots of wet weather as well.

Warm Wishes
Jennifer

kristin, its been around 11 months since we got any rain to speak of, and even that was not much, we were turning into a dust bowl.

Yeah for you! Finally. How long has it been? I would trade in a minute for some dry ground here. I have to walk in ankle deep mud all over my place. I'm sure you would not mind that at all. But I am happy for you and your farm and the well, too.

I am celebrating with you Teresa! I know you and the others in your area have really been suffering. Yes, God is good, indeed!

Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Doesn't it feel good to stand in the pouring rain after a long dry spell? I'm sure the plants and animals are just as grateful as the humans for the rain. Hope you get lots of rain to fill your wells and enough snow to have a white Christmas.
