Posted - Oct 14 2009 : 8:21:48 PM It rained all around here, north, south , east and west of me, and we did not get one drop. It is so dusty here that we could be a repeat of the great dust bowl.

Posted - Oct 15 2009 : 10:13:08 AM Hi Teresa ~ My grandson lives in Quartz Hill with his family so I've heard about the flash floods you can get there. Hope you get some "gentle" rains so that it doesn't wash you out. Have you ever shopped at the "New4U" consignment shop. It is run by my grandson's mother. If you ever get in the neighborhood, pop your head in and tell Andra that Sharon says hi! That will blow her mind.

Posted - Oct 15 2009 : 09:47:59 AM Oh so sorry Teresa, we got about 2 1/2 inches here total. I was thinking of you the last two days really hoping all us California girls were getting wet. Keep positive thoughts winter is just starting, we will all get plenty this year. :)
Warm Wishes Jennifer

We got 1.8 inches, which is wonderful and quite a bit here in the high desert. (I'm in Susanville.)
