Posted - Sep 21 2009 : 3:45:44 PM I was just in Laramie last weekend. I could feel that they were going to have an early fall and probably an early winter. It was colder than normal. I am sure this snow will melt quickly, but I bet the leaves on the trees really get earnest about falling. They will be having hard frosts by mid October at least and possibly even snow falls. My grandparents and two uncles live in Laramie. I decided no to go to the University of Laramie because of their weather! BRRR! Cold and Windy! Not my favorites. I can handle the cold but the wind drives me crazy! LOL

Posted - Sep 21 2009 : 3:09:28 PM She does live on campus, so she just whined and walked in it, like a good farmgirl. :o} It is not normal to have snow this early. In Wyoming, you never know, though. One year we made snowmen on June 23 and another it was snowing on the Independence Day parade. Last year it snowed on Labor Day. We just never know......

Posted - Sep 21 2009 : 12:01:57 PM It was cold here when I woke up this morning, but snow is a long way off. I think I shall head for SoCal for the winter. Supposed to be colder this year than last and I was cold enough.
Sorry for your daughter and I hope she lives on campus.
