I sure wish I could send you gals some of our hot sunny Kansas weather! The humidity was thick enough today I expected bullfrogs to swim by the windows! Tomorrow will be down in the 80's so a bit of a break.

It did cool off to the 70's this evening and I wanted to sit in the hot tub, but there was a creepy spider hanging off the gazebo blocking my way. Hubby has been gone all day helping his dad install a new hot water heater so it's just me and our 11 year old daughter. She's more afraid of spiders than I am so there's no one here to dispatch it! Now I know why I enjoy winter. No darned spiders, mosquitos, ticks or other creepy crawly nasties.

Its still nice here in the east---no rain...sunny and cool like October.......its beautiful.....my hyacinth bulbs are trying to come up again.....its been one fooler of a summer. Even though my morning glories grew tall....no blooms....oh well, I'm learning alot for next spring if I come back to the states.
Have a good day, farm gal friends.

Marcy, that's what I said not too long ago and we just about dried up here.It was a LONG time without rain after I said the same thing. I will never say it again, that's for sure. I wish you could send it all down to Ga. And I'd send you the sun. But we were having so much rain in early spring we almost flooded. The middle part of my garden did and I lost most of all the potatoes me and my grandkids planted. But now when we walk on the grass it crunches and there are cracks in the ground. The only thing that likes this is the weeds.

But I am glad ya'll have sunshine after so much wet stuff.

The weather around here has been horrid, hasn't it? I've been sitting on my small porch and enjoying the sun whenever we are blesssed and it comes out. It does not even feel like summer around here. We sure do need more sunshine. I am so very sick of all of this rain!

Hope you have fun in the sun, Beverly!

It's a cooler than normal summer here. We are having quite a lot of rain as well. It seems like a day doesn't go by that we don't get at least a sprinkle. It's not a bad thing for the farmers in our area, they are really needing the moisture just now.
