Posted - Jun 03 2009 : 6:36:23 PM We have been getting some great down pours for 3 to 4 days now and expect more of the same for another 5 to 6 days. Even had hail and snow with flash flooding coming home from town today. These storms are the deep roaring thunder and lightning. It has been really good for the plants as everything is growing great.

Posted - May 25 2009 : 10:51:38 AM >> << Honest to Goodness -- yesterday when we were getting up and about, I casually asked Tom if it was supossed to rain or not during the day, or maybe the afternoon. He just sorta mumbled his normal, "Uhh...I don' know..yeah..no...maybe??"
So just before I went into a tirade about paying attention to what the weather person's say, (or neglect to say..) I went into the bathroom to do something...an' I hear this sorta/kinda swwooooshing sound outside.
No more than 10 minutes after I asked about the rain..here it was. And it poured for about 15 minutes.
And that was that.
Now the humidity is somewhere in the 80% range...my hair is springggyy all over, The Dog is refusing to do Anything...and it's once again looking like it might rain.
Like it's been doing pop-up/hit & miss/here-we-go-again showers for the last 3 days. I'm beginning to feel like a duck...

Posted - May 24 2009 : 6:33:42 PM We are having our share of rain and storms in Georgia also. I too love it! But oh how the grass (and weeds) are growing.

Posted - May 24 2009 : 5:06:49 PM I have been traveling from Billings to Lewistown Montana and back today just for a exploring trip. It rained and rained all day. I just got home about a half hour ago and the rains came home with me. It is raining hard right now. I love the fresh rain smell but hate the flooding on the roads if I am driving. Right now I am snug as a bug inside. The TV just announced a flash flood warning for north of Billing. Everyone stay safe but enjoy the fresh rain.
