Posted - May 18 2009 : 9:26:05 PM We just had our first fast moving lightening, thunder and hard downpour of the season. Don't think there was any damage to the plants. It sure is pretty to watch because it came through at sunset and so the sky was full of amazing colors and clouds!

Posted - May 19 2009 : 12:24:34 AM We had hail the size of peas, rain, strong winds, thunder and lightening. I rushed out and grabbed the potted tomato sprouts and got them in the house just in time, it was really a weird storm though. It was hailing and raining at the same time, usually one then the other, but not usually both together.
This weather the last couple years has really gone crazy.
