80 degree's here (Chicagoland area) today? I'm jumping for joy! I have my plant sale to attend this morning. I'm so giddy. What a glorious day to go plant hunting!

We do have thunderstorms headed our way over the weekend. I'm going to enjoy the day. Planting away!

It certainly feels like summer here today! We hit 83 this afternoon. Too hot for me though, it was hard to plat seeds in this. I did get a free spruce tree (a very tiny one) from Whole Foods this morning. My son and I planted it for Arbor Day after he got home from kindergarten.

Enjoy tomorrow, it is supposed to be gorgeous too!

The plant sale is in Westmont. I didn't buy too much. She's having another sale in May. (Check the gathered up forum - I posted info there)

I'm camping with my girl scout troop this weekend. I sure hope those thunderstorms miss us. I want to hike! I don't mind hiking in the rain - but not thunderstorms.

My best friend is heading up to Chicago this evening with her daughter. I was checking the weekend weather for her a bit ago. She was hoping that it wasn't going to snow or anything. I told her warm and maybe severe storms, but she doesn't mind those. Glad you all are having nice weather today. It's in the lower 80s here today too!

I am very jealous right now. Here in Billings Montana the temperature is only 26 degrees with light snow. There is no plant sale in my future tomorrow. Enjoy your warm weather! We had very warm weather the past few days and now back to cold and snowy.
