Posted - Mar 15 2009 : 4:09:13 PM Today I saw four Sandhill Cranes. We went for a car ride towards Red Lodge today and saw them in the fields. We also saw a small flock of Snow Geese. We might have a few days of rain or cold temps but I hope no more of those temperatures in the single digits or lower. Everyone think SPRING...... I just know its coming.

Posted - Mar 16 2009 : 10:09:24 AM Spring is not too far away. Today lots of rain in which we badly need. I love hearing the flock of ducks overhead as they return to our region. There are a few of my bulbs popping through and things are beginning to green up. I just love spring time. Hope everyone else is enjoying their day.

Posted - Mar 16 2009 : 07:45:37 AM We had a very wet and rainy weekend and it's STILL raining. I am so looking forward to some dry days soon. I don't even want to go outside. Can you tell how depressing it is here?

Posted - Mar 15 2009 : 11:55:54 PM The last three days have been so sunny, but we still need more rain and should get more tonight and during this week. As I drove out toward Angels Camp (CA) I saw a herd of a dozen deer including some babies. And baby goats, sheep and five new calves. I found I was giggling out loud as I drove. Then I come inside my place and my baby chicks are so happy to see me. My cat comes running to see me and I felt so happy. And loved.

Posted - Mar 15 2009 : 9:14:36 PM The birds here have been really vocal the past two weeks. The beginning of the week I walked out in the backyard to check on my tortoise and he was basking in the sun. It is good to see him out. He is my gauge on when spring is here. LOL I have all kinds of wild flowers blooming (weeds). It looks real pretty.
Have a lovely week.
