Posted - Feb 26 2009 : 04:24:54 AM Not yet! It was up to 42 and the snow was melting like crazy yesterday but a blizzard is heading for us as I'm typing this. I have to keep telling myself..."This is Wisconsin, we don't get spring in February here!"

Posted - Mar 02 2009 : 2:46:22 PM Wow, is it warm anywhere in North America? It is another blustery day here for us in the Chicago area. I sure hope this lion turns into a lamb ASAP!
Deb, you got to head out to the arboretum soon! It is beautiful all year long and they have lots of events going on. I work there as a volunteer and just love it! I'm also a member at the Chicago Botanic Garden and love it there as well. Just wish we didn't have to go past O'Hare to get to CBG.

Posted - Mar 02 2009 : 09:15:56 AM March came in mighty cold here.... no snow, but we had some wind.. I stayed in all day yesterday, other than to let the dog go out, and that took some bribery on my part.. he didn't even want to go outside.

Posted - Mar 02 2009 : 07:10:29 AM Well, as much as I would like to say that spring has arrived here, I can't. We have about 10 inches of snow on the ground now. It is in the 20's and the wind makes it feel like single digits. I hope that March came in like a lion and will go out like a lamb with the start of spring and some warm weather. We have had more than enough snow here this winter. Ruth

Posted - Mar 01 2009 : 2:16:22 PM March was a sunny, windy & cold lion here in IL. That sunshine is deceiving though, it looks so warm and inviting until we step out the door. Even so, we went hiking at the Morton Arboretum today and had a lot of fun!
