Posted - Jan 08 2009 : 11:33:09 AM Sue, same with my sheep....they have very full fleeces right now, will shear in a month or so and they are getting the same wind massage your dog is getting. It's cranked up pretty good here right now but blue skies are nice to see. Jami in WA

Posted - Jan 08 2009 : 11:12:01 AM Oh how funny, dogs are great. I agree about the weird - Saturday it was 2 degrees below zero, Monday roads closed due to blizzard, yesterday 48 degrees and today, rain. Crazy!! Amy Grace

Posted - Jan 08 2009 : 10:43:57 AM We had the crazy winds here - though it doesn't seem as bad right now. Yesterday I saw my dog standing out in the wind, all his hair blowing to one side and an insane grin on his face like he was getting a really good massage! Sue in Richland WA |

Posted - Jan 08 2009 : 08:18:07 AM I keep telling myself how greatful I am that I am not in the Crop Insurance business anymore with the hinky things the weather is doing here in WA, I am worried about how the fruit is going to do with this up and down and in and out weather we are having. Jamie we had the same here, although we didnt have the snow you all had, but boy the winds have been something else...

Posted - Jan 08 2009 : 07:48:01 AM It's like a new surprise to wake up to everyday, isn't it? Yesterday, woke up to the snow gone (about 10" worth here) and 55 mph winds and the fields all saying hello with their brown grass...raining. Then, sunny, a beautiful double rainbow and stopped raining to dry out a bit. This morning I went outside for a peek at the view and was thinking...it almost feels like spring here today (in Ellensburg that means WIND) but I know I need to keep the lid on that exuberant feeling because regular weather will most likely show up soon.
