So I just turned on the news tonight and Montecito which is just north of Santa Barbara is burning. This is bad...homes are going up in seconds, and these are big homes. I beleive one of them is Oprah's, a lot of well known celebrities have homes up there. It's horrible. The Santa Ana winds are causing all of this. I am an hour to hour and half from it, but I sure hope we have no sisters up there in that area or sisters family memebers.

The pictures they are showing on the news is awful! It's horrible how homes are burning and they can't do anything to stop it...I just shutter at the images. Just before the holidays. Last year the day after Thanksgiving Malibu burned and people lost homes, but not as many that are happening now!

Wow! That really is horrible! I hope everyone is as safe as they can be! My thoughts are with all those who lost their homes to the fire.

Its horrible! 80 homes have burned. My daughter is a reporter for CBS-kcoy and she is down at an evacuation site in Goleta covering the story. She was in Santa Barbara last night when the fire broke out. A native Californian,shes never sen any thing like it.
