This morning it is 35F It was warm and toasty in bed but then I had to get up to a cold house--it was hard to peel them blankets off.
You know the old saying--and I may be saying this when it is really cold--but I will forget by then:
Spring has sprung
Fall has fell
winter is here and it is colder than ####. LOL
This is what I also saw when I woke up. Right out my bedroom window.

Ahhh...Texas. The best bbq, the best music (texas swing) and the best scenery (wrangler butts, er, I mean sunrises!!!) Hee hee.... The good old days rodeoing, the wind through my hair, not a care in the world driving down a dusty road..................

how amazing it must be to have such a beautiful veiw! and i'm jealous it's getting colder there... i sit outside each morning, before the sun comes up, drinking my coffee just to feel the cooler temperatures because that's the only time it's cooling off. highs are still in the lower 80's. when i was in the navy i desperately tried to get stationed at Whidbey Island, but got sent to hawaii instead. most think it must have been wonderful, but it wasn't. we had no cool weather whatsoever! but i had the chance to go to Washington for a week to do training, went to Seattle and i loved it!!! you are so lucky!

We only got to the high 70's this afternoon but most of the day had this little nip of coolness and the wind was blowing. I love it!

Hey Mary Beth,

What a beautiful view to wake up too! We are in the 50's early in the morning here, but it's been warming up to 81 this past week. I can't wait for autumn weather to finally arrive! I love the cold!

It's times like this that make me glad I am a bit further south! It's 62 here this morning! Don't think I'm quite ready for cold weather!

The mornings are pretty chilly here. My 3 year old is not as excited to go help feed the goats!! That view is to die for. What's property selling for in WA these days? WOW. You are truly blessed to wake up to that every mornin.

Oh my that is gorgeous! It was 44 here this morning. I turned on the heat and the gas fireplace. Even had to put socks on for the first time in about 4 months.
