We are supposed to get our first frost of the season tonight, I didn't get home til 11:40 and there no lights out where my flowers and garden are so I can't even go cover them up so they won't freeze. The garden doesn't matter so much, the only thing left in it is pumpkins, squash, and gourds. Hopefully the weatherman is wrong, and I'll have a little bit longer to enjoy my pretty flowers.

Take care, Melissa.

I am just about ready for frost but we are 3 or 4 weeks away. It has been in the 80's during the day and 60's at night. Good weather for getting the gardens ready for frost. But have been spending a lot of time in the kitchen with the canning that I'm not getting to go out and enjoy. But then, sitting here at the computer is fun but need to get out side.

I envy you! I am READY for cooler weather...today was nice but got warm but not too warm but the humidity was 95% so I finally had to turn on the ac! I had just taken a bath and was starting to perspire....I hate that! My house is for sale so I can move north again to be closer to my family and although winters are tough there summers are unbearable for me here. You always have to trade for something but I would rather have summers where it is not so hot I can't go out in it and I hate having the house all closed up and the ac on all summer....even now! I think it is all what you get used to or how you were raised. Now that I don't have to commute to work in the snow I will love it when it snows! And I love fall and the crisp air and it just ain't happenin' here...yet anyway! LOL!

Yup, it is getting cooler here too! Day temps are now 62F and night temps go as low as 35/37 F. YIKES.
And a little frost real close to the ground. BBBRRR

Good! I'm glad your flowers made it another day. ;) I can't imagine frost; here it's still in the 100s, and high 90s. :(
